The raw salt enters the salt tank, and the light brine from the electrolysis process, the equipment recovered water and the supplementary water are used to dissolve the saturated crude brine.
The electrolysis process includes three parts: secondary brine refining, electrolysis and dilute brine dechlorination.
After the NaOH from the electrolysis process is evaporated and concentrated, the NaOH concentration in the lye is increased to produce flake caustic and granular caustic.
(4) Chlorine treatment process
After the wet chlorine gas from the electrolysis process is washed, first, it enters the cooler for cooling. Second, it is sent to the packed tower through the separator to countercurrently contact with sulfuric acid for the first step of dehydration. Third, the chlorine gas from the packed tower is sent to the bubble tower for countercurrent contact with concentrated sulfuric acid for further dehydration. Fourth, the acid mist is captured by the acid mist trap. Finally, it is compressed and pressurized by a chlorine compressor and sent to chlorine users.
The chlorine gas from the shutdown and accident conditions of the device is first absorbed in the absorption tower with the absorption lye from the circulation tank. The tail gas after the absorption reaction enters the tail gas tower and is further absorbed by lye.
The wet hydrogen from the electrolysis process enters the lower part of the hydrogen washing tower, and is directly cooled and washed with the circulating liquid sprayed in the tower. The alkali mist and steam condensate contained in the hydrogen are taken away by the circulating liquid. Then it is sent to a hydrogen compressor for pressure increase. Finally, it is sent out of the boundary through two cooling stages.
