Introduction

Propellent Plate heat exchanger consists of a pack of corrugated metal plates, gaskets and a fix frame, the plate pack is assembled and fixed on the frame by tightening bolts. The heat is transferred through the plate between the channels which are sealed by gaskets. Large number of corrugations of the metal plate are formed by different molds to applicable various industries. The plate corrugations promote turbulent flow of fluid and support the plates against different pressure. The movable frame allows the equipment to adjust (add or remove) the plates to meet the heat duty.
