In a plate condenser, the heat transfer plate and the sealing gasket form a channel for the flow of the medium. Two different media flow in opposite directions in adjacent channels to complete the heat exchange. The plate is embossed with beveled corrugations and sealing grooves are pressed around the corner holes and all around. Rubber gaskets are attached to the inner side of the sealing grooves with adhesive. Since the different corrugated plates can be turned over to form cross-sectional channels, the fluid flows in three dimensions in the corrugated plate sheet flow channel, which can produce turbulent flow with low Reynolds number and therefore high heat transfer coefficient.
