Pretreatment for protein
Remove the protein is the first step. After the protein in the saccharification solution is filtered by the vacuum drum filter on the pre-coated diatom, using a plate heat exchanger to heat the saccharification to eliminate the enzyme, then flows into the decolorization tank. The sterilization temperature is at 80-85℃, and the protein content is ≤0.15%.
Decolorization
①The protein pretreated material liquid flows into the decolorization tank, and at the same time, a certain proportion of washing honey and separating honey are added (the washing honey is raised to 80-85 ℃ through the plate heat exchanger), and the enzyme is decolorized once and twice, and then adsorbed by activated carbon. The impurities are filtered by the plate and frame filter to obtain a clarified, transparent and colorless refined sugar solution. ② The decolorization temperature is around 80 °C, and the amount of carbon added can meet the requirements according to the color of the material. ③ When the pressure of the plate and frame is high and the filtration speed is slow , open the plate and frame filter to remove the charcoal. For the first decolorization, the decolorization time is 30 minutes, and the decolorization temperature is at 80-85°C.
Crystallization
① Once the concentration, temperature, and inspection of the concentrated sugar liquid are qualified, use a pump to cool down the plate heat exchanger and then transport it to the crystallizing tank. ② When the tank is full, the temperature of the material in the tank is 44-46 °C, and the temperature is gradually lowered according to the cooling curve. In 50-70 hours, it will drop to 22-30 ℃ and produce sugar. Reserve 30% massecuite in the crystallizing tank as seed crystal. The material temperature is 50-60°C, the crystal growing temperature is 44-46°C, and the end point temperature is 22-30°C.
The feed liquid contains denatured protein particles, which is the main factor affecting the design of plate heat exchangers. In this case, wide-gap plate heat exchangers and spiral plate heat exchangers can be used. Propellent plate heat exchanger adopts wide-Channel plates, and the thickness of the plates reaches 0.7mm. There is enough space between the two plates for particles or viscous materials to pass through.
