Heat recovery water-cooled unit(screw/centrifuge) refers to a unit that recovers some or all of the heat contained in the high-temperature and high-pressure refrigerant discharged by the compressor for producing hot water.
We use a condenser as a heat recovery unit.
The cooling tower is open type, and in order not to contaminate the hot water, the cooling water used in the condenser exchanges heat indirectly with the cooling water in the cooling tower through a large plate heat exchanger. Because heat exchange requires a temperature difference, the temperature of the chiller will not be 30/35°C or 32/37°C; it usually reaches 35/40°C, or even higher. This depends on the heat transfer capacity of the plate heat exchanger.
In this case, the temperature of the hot water from the condenser can be controlled by adjusting the start and stop of the cooling tower or the speed of the exhaust fan. When the outlet of the air conditioning system detects insufficient heat, the entire HVAC control system will reduce the heat emitted to the outside by reducing the speed of the cooling tower. In this way, the temperature of the hot water passing through the air conditioning system will be increased, thereby increasing the heat effectively recovered by the air conditioning system. In addition, it is also possible to set a bypass in the cooling circuit of the cooling tower, and control the opening of the bypass to achieve load control, which depends on the entire HVAC design.
